We now have an exciting opportunity within Envoy Global’s HR department for a dynamic HR Generalist (Europe & Africa) to join us on a full‑time basis. This role plays a vital part in delivering high‑quality HR support across multiple countries, ensuring an exceptional employee experience throughout the full lifecycle.

As a key member of the UK, Europe, and Africa HR team, the HR Generalist will contribute to a wide range of HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, benefits and payroll coordination, HRIS/data management, talent and performance programs, employee engagement, and regional compliance. You will serve as a hands‑on operational partner and a go‑to systems expert—supporting employees and managers across the UK, Germany, South Africa, and other countries within the region.

This role will collaborate closely with the HR Director, global HR Centers of Excellence, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, and regional leadership to ensure accurate processes, consistent data, strong governance, and a positive employee experience. The HR Generalist will also support cross‑functional initiatives, employee engagement programs, and process improvements that enhance the effectiveness of HR across an international and fast‑growing environment.

As our HR Generalist (Europe & Africa), you will be required to: 

Onboarding and Offboarding 

  • Ensure a seamless, high‑quality onboarding and offboarding experience. 
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that meet both global and local requirements. 
  • Communicate with candidates throughout their journey, ensuring a clear and positive experience. 
  • Prepare compliant offer letters and employment contracts, coordinate background checks. 
  • Partner with IT, Finance, HR Reporting, and L&D to coordinate logistics and ensure readiness for new hires. 
  • Assist with audit and compliance documentation (e.g., SOC audits). 

HRIS & Data Management 

  • Learn and navigate HRIS platforms effectively; generate reports and analyze key HR metrics (headcount, turnover, new hires, terminations, etc.). 
  • Prepare data for dashboards, and leadership reporting. 
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of HR data. 
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies; support periodic data clean‑up and integrity initiatives. 
  • Uphold data protection and privacy standards at all times 
  • Identify automation opportunities and work with the extended global HR team to drive system efficiency and employee experience. 

Employee Engagement & Experience 

  • Support logistics and coordination for HR initiatives such as engagement surveys and DEI programs. 
  • Help plan employee events, celebrations, and recognition activities. 
  • Assist with talent and performance management cycles, including platform support. 
  • Contribute to internal communications and cross-functional engagement projects. 
  • Help manage communication tools such as SharePoint and Teams. 
  • Maintain the HR and company-wide events calendar. 

Benefits & Payroll Administration 

  • Collaborate with employees, the payroll team, and the HR Director to administer benefits across multiple countries. 
  • Support all benefit-related activities including enrollment, offboarding, audits, and changes. 
  • Provide accurate and timely payroll inputs. 
  • Work with global compensation & benefits teams and local brokers to ensure strong, competitive offerings for employees. 

Employee Relations 

  • Partner with HR leaders and managers to support disciplinary processes. 
  • Assist with investigations, grievances, documentation, and meeting minutes.
  • Manage exit interviews, probation reviews, and related follow-up actions. 

To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications: 

  • Highly collaborative, able to support multiple HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, reporting, and communications. 
  • Creative thinker with a passion for enhancing the employee experience. 
  • Able to manage projects independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Previous experience in a similar HR role. 
  • Flexible and comfortable managing shifting priorities and occasional extended hours. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones. 
  • Experience with BambooHR and UKG is highly beneficial. 
  • 3–6 years of experience in HR or Talent Management (e.g., HR Administrator, Coordinator, Associate, or Generalist). 
  • Graduation or above
