We’re Sandfield, a leading, Kiwi-owned software business, and we build smart software solutions for some of Australasia’s top brands.

We’re working on some pretty cool projects right now, and there’s plenty more in our (very long) pipeline, so we are growing and need a talented organiser to help support our awesome team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our HR Administrator, you are the "engine room" of our Team & Talent team. Your role is to ensure every candidate and employee feels the Sandfield magic through:

  • Recruitment Coordination: Assist with recruitment and the "candidate journey" from posting ads that stand out to ensuring a seamless interview experience.
  • Employee Branding: Take the lead in organising our career events and presence at the Universities. You’ll be the face of Sandfield at uni career fairs!
  • Learning & Development: Coordinating soft skills and technical training, tracking progress, and gathering feedback.
  • Culture & Connection: Planning company-wide events and social activities such as our monthly Fun Food events.
  • Operational Support: Adhoc projects, onboarding and HR administration that support the smooth running of the office.

This role will suit a recent graduate who is:

  • A detail’s person: You get a kick out of being organised and pride yourself on high-quality writing and accuracy, and are quick to pick up new technologies.
  • Proactive: You don’t wait to be told what to do; you see a gap and fill it, looking at ways to improve and optimise processes.
  • A Culture Champion: You genuinely enjoy bringing people together and creating a positive vibe.

Why you will enjoy working at Sandfield

  • Stability & Growth: We don't just hire for jobs; we hire for careers. With a 5-year average tenure, we invest in your long-term progression.
  • Culture: 2025 Best Place to Work Finalist with a flat structure and zero ego.
  • The Social Life: Regular ‘Fun Food’ evenings, well-stocked drinks fridge, fresh fruit, and a social calendar that’s always full.
  • The environment: funky office with views over Auckland city and a supportive, relaxed atmosphere.
  • Travel for Less: We’re big on sustainability. We offer a 75% Fareshares Workplace Subsidy on public transport to make your commute to our CBD office easy and affordable.
  • Flexibility that Works: We’re big believers in the energy that comes from being together in our Ponsonby office, but we’re not clock-watchers. We offer flexible working to ensure you have the balance you need to stay at your best, both in and out of the office.
