TLDR

Assist in the smooth operation of housekeeping by managing supplies and requests to enhance guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for assisting room attendants through the distribution of supplies throughout property. Housepersons are also responsible for responding to guest requests for amenities/services and inventory stocking. 
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transport and stock all linen and supplies in housekeeping closets and back of house areas 

  • Keep housekeeping areas clean and organized following departmental standards

  • Monitor and maintain designated supply levels

  • Assist all team members with delivery and restocking of in room amenities and linen  

  • Work in accordance with hotel and departmental safety standards

  • Coordinate and communicate all deliveries and guest requests through companies internal communication platform

  • Engage with guests with a smile and appropriate greeting, using the guests name whenever appropriate

  • Follow all Auberge Service Standards 

  • Capture and record guest preferences into internal communication platform where appropriate

  • Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned

$20.16/hour + service charge

  • A genuine affinity for interacting with guests and team members alike 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time seamlessly including delivery of guest requests and room attendant requests
  • Ability to work cohesively with other departments and individuals as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and security of guest rooms
  • Competency and learning within new computer based applications 
  • Lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • One-year Housekeeping/Houseperson experience 
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Ability to communicate in basic conversational English with team members and guests to support safe operations, coordination of work, and service standards. Additional language skills are welcomed and valued.
