Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the Housekeeping Manager in supervising and coordinating the team's daily operations.
  • Training and mentoring Housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols, standards, and guest service.
  • Conducting quality control inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure excellence.
  • Supporting the Manager in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
  • Reporting and ensuring timely follow-up on maintenance issues and guest-related requests.
  • Assisting in implementing and enforcing all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Helping with staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and team motivation.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless operational flow and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

What You Bring: 

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in a supervisory or team leader role within Housekeeping, preferably in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience in training and motivating staff.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of luxury cleaning standards.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing daily operations effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, scheduling, and basic administrative tasks.
  • Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations relevant to housekeeping.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, supporting the Housekeeping Manager's vision.
  • Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
