Housekeeping Assistant – Belong Chester

26-32.5 hours per week | £12.60 per hour

Belong Chester is looking for a caring, reliable and motivated Housekeeping Assistant to join our village team. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working in a busy laundry environment, takes pride in fresh, well-presented linens, and loves contributing to a homely, welcoming atmosphere for the people who live with us.

While you’ll support the full range of housekeeping duties, a significant part of your role will be based in our laundry room, helping to keep our households running smoothly and comfortably.

About the role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will support the Head Housekeeper and Front of House Manager to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and comfort across all areas of the village. You will:

• Work within the laundry room to sort, wash, dry, iron and organise clothing, bedding and household linens
• Ensure laundry is returned promptly, neatly and in excellent condition
• Deliver all domestic services in line with Belong’s values, ensuring the wellbeing of customers, colleagues and visitors
• Respond to individual customer needs to help them maintain their household accommodation
• Support the wider team with general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and maintaining high presentation standards

• This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, which Belong will arrange and fund.
