The Hotel Sales Coordinator will assist the Director of Sales in all aspects of sourcing and servicing sales activity across all market segments, for the hotel.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour

Responsibilities

  • Sell and coordinate bookings for all market segments
  • Maintains Sales System
  • Prepares contracts and proposals, receives payment
  • Types and files all correspondence for easy retrieval
  • Responds to telephone inquiries regarding hotel availability; quoting established group rates
  • Provides weekly report to necessary departments about upcoming scheduled events needs
  • Effectively communicates with all hotel departments on Event needs
  • Manages Wedding & Event Segment

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years hotel front desk experience or sales experience *preferred but not required*
  • Excellent telephone communications skills
  • Ability to meet one-on-one with individuals, such as brides or meeting room contact
  • Strong organization skills and effective time management skills
