Role Overview:

Due to internal growth at Medserv, we are actively looking for a Hospital Administrator to join our Hospitals Team in Ireland. Forming a team of two based onsite at the Bon Secours Hospital Cork you will be managing administration for secretaries, consultants and other medical professionals on a daily basis.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Hospital and Consultants via phone, in-person and on email.
  • Liaise regularly with Medserv billing teams.
  • Accessing reports and billing information from an in-house system & sending them to the relevant teams.
  • Data entry to include updating information on an in-house system, scanning and uploading files etc.
  • Requesting medical charts as required.
  • Verifying patient admission status and insurance details.
  • Preparation of weekly report for supervisor.
  • Managing internal & external phone & email queries.
  • Other administration duties as they arise.


Requirements and Skills:

  • Previous office experience preferably in a medical setting would be advantageous
  • Excellent computer skills and telephone manner.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • The ideal candidate should have a can-do attitude, excellent interpersonal skills & be very reliable.
  • Willing to take on additional duties as required.
