Requirements: The Hospice RN Team Leader provides direct supervision and support to assigned nursing and paraprofessional staff under the guidance of the Team Manager. This role ensures day-to-day coordination of patient care activities, compliance with agency standards, and fosters a collaborative team environment. The Team Leader serves as a clinical resource, assists with staff development, and promotes quality care aligned with Calvary Hospice’s mission and regulatory requirements.

 Bronx & Westchester

Hours: 9am - 5pm

Salary: $120,000 - $146,500 annually

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of three years of hospice nursing experience, with at least one year in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Current NY State Registered Nurse license.
  • Valid NYS driver’s license for specific areas.
  • Progressive management experience with supervisory experience.
  • Strong clinical expertise in hospice care and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Exhibits attitude consistent with the philosophy and mission of Calvary Hospital.

Education: 

  • BSN from an accredited school is Preferred. Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree (MSN) preferred.
  •  Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care (CHPN) required or must be completed within two year of hire.
