Requirements: The Hospice Bereavement Coordinator coordinates the Hospice Bereavement activities and provides psychosocial and bereavement support options (counseling or group) to the hospice families and participates in Bereavement Department programs.  

Status: Full Time

Location: Bronx Campus

Salary: $92,228.53 - $99,742.70 annually

Qualifications: 

  • Licensed Master of Social Work, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or License Mental Health Counselor required.
  • Specialized training in the area of death and dying preferred.
  • At least two years of hospice experience preferred.
  • New York State Driver’s license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the core values of caring and commitment upheld at Calvary Hospital, as required by specific job responsibilities

Education: 

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.

COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged for all new hires prior to beginning employment at Calvary Hospital.
