The Hospice Admissions Lead will be responsible for working closely with the marketing and clinical staff by coordination of the total referral process including the referral initiation, insurance verification, assignment of referrals and record keeping as well as establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources.
Compensation Range: $30.00-$36.00 hourly
Schedule: Monday- Friday + Weekend Rotations
Responsibilities:
Train and precept new intake coordinators as needed.
Initiation and coordination of the referral process
Works directly with all team members and management to improve processes and implement.
Learns and manages each branches individual requirements, time standards for processing, and analytics to meet and exceed excellent patient care.
Assists with managing daily workflow and intake coverage.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum five (2) years’ experience in Hospice setting.
Minimum three (2) year experience using HCHB to perform operations relating to the Hospice Business model.
Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information and communicate with all levels of management.
Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
