Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage daily schedules for healthcare staff, including nurses, caregivers, and therapists
  • Communicate with patients, families, and staff to confirm appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and respond promptly to last minute changes or call offs
  • Maintain accurate records in scheduling software and update calendars in real time
  • Collaborate with HR and operations teams to align staffing with patient needs
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and healthcare regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times

Work Schedule -Monday to Friday 8 to 5 CST

Requirements

  • Experience in HomeCare is mandatory
  • Minimum of six months experience in a Home Care scheduling environment
  • Candidates with strong healthcare scheduling experience that overlaps with homecare may also be considered
  • Strong knowledge of US homecare systems, terminology, and staffing models
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as ClearCare, AlayaCare, HomeTrak, or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage a high volume of scheduling requests
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in home care, hospice, or long term care settings
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
