Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Hitachi storage architecture, Brocade switch and fabric, and storage management. The role requires excellent analytical skills, initiative, and strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Design, implement, and manage Hitachi storage systems, including midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00, etc.)

- Configure and manage storage replication, snapshot, shadow image, and remote replication (sync and async)

- Implement and manage Hitachi Global Active Device and other advanced storage features

- Use Hitachi tools, such as HCS, HTnM, and HDLM, to manage and monitor storage systems

- Configure and manage Brocade switch and fabric, including zoning, ISL, trunking, and fabric merging

- Troubleshoot storage performance issues and optimize storage systems for maximum performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications

- Participate in incident management and change management processes, ensuring compliance with ITIL standards

- Lead projects from sizing to rollout, including project planning, execution, and delivery

 

Requirements:

 

- 6+ years of experience in storage engineering, with a strong focus on Hitachi storage architecture and Brocade switch and fabric

- In-depth knowledge of Hitachi storage systems, including midrange and enterprise storage

- Experience with storage replication, snapshot, shadow image, and remote replication (sync and async)

- Strong understanding of Brocade switch and fabric, including zoning, ISL, trunking, and fabric merging

- Basic knowledge of VMware, OS (AIX/Windows/Linux), and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell)

- Experience with storage performance tuning and troubleshooting

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent project management skills, with experience leading projects from sizing to rollout

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
