Heavy Equipment Mechanic - SECRET - Temple, TX

Positions are available at both CONUS and OCONUS, and for both short and long-term durations.

Global Dimensions is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for potential future opportunities to provide support and Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) maintenance assistance to the maintenance teams in Temple, TX.

Requirements

• Clearance: Secret
• 3-4 years’ experience working as 63T, 91M, 45T, 63H, 91H, 63D or 91E
• 1-2 years’ experience with MWO Modification
• Ability to perform maintenance on associated tasks related to maintaining power plants, engine fuel systems, air induction systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, engine starting and charging systems, track electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues associated with military equipment
• Ability to install modifications and retrofits to platforms M7A3 M2A3 M2A4 M7A4 but not limited to other platforms or another maintenance/maintainer task
• High School diploma or equivalent with military MOS Training certificate
• Must be able to pass Drug and Background check

Temporary: (09/09/2024-03/10/2025)

Travel: Yes 80%- Per diem eligible

Schedule: Standard 40 hrs

Overtime: Yes

Preferred

• Troubleshoots minor technical issues
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• Must be able to function with minimal supervision
