Looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) Instructor on a part‐time -basis. Instruction, including commercial and residential HVACR design, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting, will be covered. In addition to instruction, the successful candidate will be responsible for project and resource development to support the curriculum.
The instructor will deliver high- quality, hands-on instruction in HVACR to adult learners, preparing them for careers in high-demand industries. The ideal candidate will combine technical skill, industry experience, demonstrated teaching ability, effective interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to workforce development and helping adult learners succeed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in HVACR instruction, including theory and hands-on practice.
Develop instructional materials, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with industry standards and student learning outcomes.
Adapt instruction for adult learners, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and inclusion.
Monitor and assess student progress, provide feedback, tutoring, and remediation as needed.
Required Qualifications
At least 4 years of demonstrated experience working in HVACR repair and maintenance or related trades.
Strong knowledge of safety practices, tools, equipment, and relevant regulations.
Ability to communicate clearly to diverse student audiences.
Reliable, organized, good at planning, with the ability to adapt lessons to varying student needs.
Basic computer skills for recordkeeping, digital tools, learning management, etc.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Journeyman or post-secondary education.
Applicable professional license (s).
Prior teaching or mentoring experience.
Experience with adult or non-traditional learners.
