Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Implementation Manager to lead complex, end-to-end implementations of healthcare technology solutions for U.S. provider, payer, and health system clients. This role requires deep expertise in healthcare integrations, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), EHR platforms, and Agile delivery models.

The Implementation Manager will act as the primary bridge between client stakeholders and internal Engineering, Product, Integration, and Support teams—owning client onboarding, technical integrations, go-lives, and post-implementation stabilization.

Key Responsibilities – Implementation & Delivery

- Lead end-to-end healthcare IT implementations from discovery through go-live and stabilization
- Own implementation plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and issue resolution
- Manage multiple concurrent implementations while ensuring quality and on-time delivery

Key Responsibilities – Integrations & Interoperability

- Oversee integrations involving EHR/EMR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Athena, Allscripts)
- Lead technical discussions on HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, C-CDA, APIs, interfaces, and data mapping
- Partner with Engineering to validate workflows and data exchange logic

Key Responsibilities – Client & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary client point of contact
- Translate clinical and business needs into technical implementation plans
- Facilitate solution design sessions and executive communications

Key Responsibilities – Agile & Collaboration

- Work in Agile/Scrum environments with Product, Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination

Key Responsibilities – Compliance & Go-Live

- Ensure HIPAA and HITECH compliance
- Drive UAT, cutover planning, go-live execution, and hypercare support

Requirements

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of U.S. Healthcare IT implementation experience
- Strong expertise in HL7, FHIR, APIs, and healthcare integrations
- Hands-on experience with EHR/EMR systems
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with healthcare SaaS or digital health platforms
- Agile, PMP, or SAFe certification
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
