The Opportunity


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health, Safety Consultant, based in London or the Southeast, to join our expanding and successful consultancy team. This is an ideal role for someone at the beginning of their career, looking to develop expertise in health, safety, and fire risk management within the commercial property sector.

You will undertake general health and safety assessments, provide consultancy support and advice to clients, and receive comprehensive training and mentoring from experienced consultants.

The role combines site-based work with home-based report writing and client support. Diaries are pre-planned to support work-life balance. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for site visits.

Competencies and Experience


We welcome applications from recent graduates or those with some relevant experience.


You should have:


  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Fire Safety, or a related subject
  • An interest in developing expertise in health and safety and fire risk assessments
  • A willingness to learn and apply relevant UK standards and codes
  • Strong written, IT, and communication skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Any previous experience or internships in health and safety, fire risk, or property management would be advantageous but are not essential
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development


Desirable (but not essential):


Membership of IOSH, IFE, IFSM, or similar professional bodies
