The Role
As Head Vet Nurse, you will take on a leadership role within the clinic, supporting and mentoring our nursing team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital. This is a hands-on role where you will balance leadership responsibilities with clinical nursing duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, training, and mentoring the nursing team
Coordinating daily workflow and hospital operations
Maintaining high standards of patient care and customer service
Assisting with rosters and stock control
Supporting veterinarians in all aspects of clinical care
About You
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with leadership or senior nurse experience highly regarded
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong team player with the ability to lead by example
Passionate about providing gold-standard care for patients and clients
