ABOUT THE ROLE
Trustly is seeking a results-oriented, metrics-driven senior product management leader to architect the vision, strategy, and execution of our growing Trustly Connect, ID and FIC products supporting our Core Payments Business. In this role, you oversee the suite of Bank Account and Identity Verification services foundational to our global payments ecosystem. Beyond scaling current products, you serve as the strategic lead for Trustly’s financial institution network—shaping the connectivity platform that powers our entire data portfolio and defining the future of Open Banking on a global scale.
This is a highly visible leadership role that requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, technical depth, customer empathy, and operational excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Trustly Connect - Bank Account and Identity Verification Product. You will also own the product strategy and roadmap for Trustly Americas’ financial institution connectors (“FIC”) portfolio across North America, Europe, and beyond.
Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, setting a clear vision and guiding execution to maximize KPIs / business outcomes
Continuously enhance breadth and depth of bank coverage, data retrieval performance, connector stack uptime, and controllable user conversion performance.
Drive enterprise-grade quality of the FIC platform with a maniacal focus by defining dashboards, monitoring and alerting capabilities and processes, and working closely with the engineering and market-facing operations teams to streamline communications and accelerate issue resolution.
Define and evangelize bank connectivity standards and best practices internally, to merchants, and as part of national working groups
Architect every aspect of our online onboarding experience - including UX flows, KYB/KYC processes, AML screening and monitoring, vendor integrations, and commercialization of our Trustly Connect and ID Products.
Ensure that the products are compliant with global/local regulatory requirements and embody strong data governance and privacy principles.
Translate customer and stakeholder feedback into compelling product experiences and high-impact feature development.
Responsible for the overall full SDLC (software development lifecycle) process for the Value Added Services, including ideation, compliance, support readiness, measurement analytics and customer feedback, etc and partner with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure success.
WHO YOU ARE
10+ years in digital product management, engineering leadership, banking relations, or similar, with at least 4 years in direct people management
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology, mathematics or science field; Master’s degree a plus
Adept at creating a product/technology vision and strategy, translating it to actionable plans, and inspiring an organization to buy into it
Experienced operating in a demanding enterprise market; obsessed with high quality, with a customer-first DNA
Strong technical acumen and familiarity with APIs, quality metrics, and technical monitoring
Familiarity with Open Banking (PSD2 in Europe)
SaaS, PaaS or payments experience
Hands-on, self-starter, creative problem solver, with the ability to hit the ground running
International online banking platform experience across the US, Canada and Europe is nice to have
Deep familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to customer data, identity, and payments.
Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with how data pipelines, models, and APIs integrate into product workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to clearly articulate vision, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across teams.
