Head of Talent & Culture — Europe (Estonia)

TLDR

Lead Talent & Culture initiatives in Europe, focusing on shaping a strong organizational culture and supporting growth following recent acquisitions.

Key Responsabilities 

  • Act as the Talent & Culture leader for Europe (primary focus on Estonia, with occasional travel to other European countries, including Germany). 
  • Lead the implementation of scalable Talent & Culture practices and processes aligned with VOSKER standards, adapted to the local context, and compliant with local legal requirements and applicable European frameworks. 
  • Champion and serve as an ambassador of a strong, engaging, and accountability-driven culture among employees and managers. 
  • Support leaders across all people-related challenges and contribute as an active member of the management committee. 
  • Act as a coach to leaders to orchestrate and align key Talent & Culture priorities (talent acquisition and development, performance management, compensation and recognition, employee experience, change management, as well as compliance and governance) in support of business objectives. 
  • Act as a trusted partner to employees by supporting them throughout their employee journey (onboarding, development, performance, well-being) and ensuring a consistent, inclusive employee experience aligned with the culture. 
  • Work closely with the Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Organizational Development teams in Canada to ensure alignment between local practices and VOSKER’s global standards. 
  • Analyze Talent & Culture metrics and propose concrete solutions to improve organizational effectiveness. 
  • Instinctively able to measure the pulse of the business. Empathic.
  • Key enabler to the vision and the leadership.
  • Significant experience in a senior HR / Talent & Culture leadership role (Head, Director or Senior HR Business Partner) 
  • Experience in an international, multi-country or matrix environment 
  • Demonstrated experience in growth, acquisition, transformation or organizational change contexts 
  • Strong autonomy and ability to operate in a newly created role 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and structure functions 
  • Solid knowledge of European labor law and compliance considerations 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and evolving environments 
  • Education & Skills 
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.  
  • Professional HR certification or equivalent), an asset. Relevant HR certification is considered an asset. 
  • Fluency in English required 
  • French and additional European languages, an asset
