Two thirds of all German hospitals already run on our platform. That is not a pitch, that is a foundation. We have built the infrastructure that connects over 1,000 hospitals and 26,000 care providers across Germany, and we are using AI to make the handoffs between them faster, smarter and less dependent on human administration. 

Recare is an AI first company, and we need an AI first Talent Function to help us scale our organisation at speed.

What you will do

  • You build a talent acquisition function designed for a company where every role is changing, defining what great hiring looks like when AI fluency is a baseline, not a bonus

  • You build a top talent brand in a competitive market to attract the right people ahead of demand

  • You identify the right opportunities to automate processes and implement the right tools

  • You own the full hiring process end to end, from role intake to offer, with accountability for speed, quality, and stakeholder experience

  • You source actively and globally, building pipelines for tech, product, and healthtech talent across Europe before the need becomes urgent

  • You define what an A-player looks like at Recare, developing interview structures that assess AI fluency as a real, concrete criterion, not a checkbox

  • You lead and develop a lean team of two, coaching them to operate as a modern, technology-augmented recruiting function

  • You partner with senior leadership on org design and workforce planning, challenging headcount requests when the right answer is not always more people

  • You manage external agencies and partners commercially, knowing when to use them and when to build internally

  • You set up the metrics and reporting that turn hiring into a genuine competitive advantage

Requirements

Who you are

  • You have 5 or more years in talent acquisition, with time on both the agency and in-house sides

  • You have built or significantly improved a hiring function inside a fast-moving, VC-backed scale-up and you know the difference between a function that is busy and one that actually works

  • You understand that active sourcing is not a fallback, it is an integral part of the job, and you have the track record to prove it

  • You bring genuine AI fluency to your work, not just tool awareness but workflow integration, and you have a clear point of view on where AI changes recruiting and where it does not

  • You think in systems, not tasks, and you design for scale rather than solving one problem at a time

  • You communicate with directness and confidence, pushing back when a brief is wrong and calibrating expectations when they do not match reality

  • You are energised by building, not maintaining, and you are ready to get your hands dirty alongside your team
