We are looking for a Head of Sales to lead and scale our Australian commercial engine from our Sydney office. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own revenue outcomes, shape go-to-market strategy, and build a high-performing team that sets the benchmark for B2B sales within the corporate services industry.
Your Mission: Drive Sleek Australia’s revenue growth by building a high-performing sales organisation, converting market opportunities into sustainable commercial outcomes, and establishing Sleek as the go-to partner for Australian businesses.
Outcomes:
• Accelerate revenue growth through improved conversion rates and average deal values across the sales team.
• Build a consistently high-performing team where every AE meets or exceeds their monthly targets.
• Establish scalable sales processes, playbooks, and coaching frameworks that reduce dependency on individual heroics.
• Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility to the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Go-to-Market:
- Own the Australia sales strategy and revenue targets, reporting directly to the Global VP of Sales & Customer Success.
- Contribute to pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions as a key member of the Australia leadership team.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and expansion levers across verticals, segments, and channels.
- Partner closely with Marketing to drive lead quality, optimise demand generation strategy, and improve campaign effectiveness .
Team Building & Performance:
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Account Executives & SDRs.
- Coach the team on consultative selling, objection handling, and value articulation — not just pitch enforcement.
- Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Own the sales commission framework; ensure it drives the right behaviours and is administered fairly and on time.
Revenue Operations & Execution:
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline in HubSpot; partner with the CRM team to automate low-value tasks and leverage AI-driven tools where they add value.
- Own weekly and monthly reporting, forecasting accuracy, and overall pipeline health, with support from Data and CRM teams.
- Personally close high-value or strategic deals as needed (~10–15% of time), setting the standard for the team.
- Drive continuous improvement in lead management, sales processes, and handover quality.
- Most of your selling experience will have been in B2B or SaaS and/or services similar to what Sleek offers in Australia.
Role Requirements:
- 8+ years in B2B / SaaS sales, with at least 3–5 years leading and scaling sales teams.
- Exposure to AI-driven sales tools and modern sales tech stacks is a nice to have.
- Demonstrated success building or transforming inbound-led sales functions; hybrid (inbound + outbound) experience is a plus.
- Strong track record of consistently hitting and exceeding revenue targets in the Australian market.
- Experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms at scale.
- Strong commercial acumen — you understand unit economics, Lifetime Value:Customer Acquisition Cost (LTV:CAC), and the drivers of sustainable growth..
Location: Sydney-based (hybrid — 3–4 days in our Sydney office). We welcome applications from strong candidates across Australia and worldwide who are open to relocating or commuting.
Language: Full professional proficiency in English is required.
Behavioural fit is also important at Sleek, and we will be looking for candidates that have a proven track record of embodying the below attributes in their recent roles:
Ownership: This shows reliability and helps build trust within the team. We move fast and need to know that everyone will see things through to completion and proactively help to get things back on track when challenges arise. Accountability is really important to us.
Humility: There is so much we don’t know. Humility allows for open-mindedness to feedback and a willingness to learn from others. It paves the way for collaboration and creates a positive work environment. It is a key ingredient of self awareness and emotional intelligence.
Structured thinking: Our business is complex with many layers (many services, many countries, many cultures). Regardless of whether you’re more analytical or creative in nature, being able to show sound judgement is important to us. It ensures solutions are pragmatic and balance the needs of the organisation, team and customers.
A great listener: Our prospects need to feel heard and understood by you. You will present in a kind, calm, warm, attentive manner - working cooperatively to help solve the needs of our potential customers and never interrupting them.
Data driven: We are a data rich business with ~15,000 small customers. Each decision we make can impact many more people than we realise - so it’s critical that we use sound data to support our strategies and review the success of our initiatives.
Can have tough conversations in a positive way: It’s not a matter of if, but when difficult interpersonal situations arise. Disagreement, conflict and disappointment are a given in a fast moving business where people care about their work. People that proactively have tough conversations with kindness build empathy, trust and great working relationships.
