Head of Rest of Africa (SuperSportBet)

TLDR

Lead operational delivery for new and existing markets in Africa, managing teams and ensuring alignment across Product, Marketing, and local operations.

About Us

KingMakers is a proudly African company shaping the future of sports and iGaming entertainment across the continent.

Since 2018, we’ve been building platforms, including BetKing and SuperSportBet, that bring millions of fans closer to the excitement of play through technology, integrity, and innovation. Operating across markets such as Nigeria and South Africa, we’re part of a new generation of African businesses redefining what quality, trust, and entertainment look like in our industry.

Our vision is clear: to be the home where Africa plays. At KingMakers, we move fast, stay curious, and hold ourselves to high standards of performance and accountability. We believe great products don’t just entertain: they build connection, opportunity, and pride across the communities we serve.

We are hiring a Head of Rest of Africa to lead the operational delivery of new and existing markets outside South Africa and Nigeria. This includes the management of Zambia and the launch of new markets.

This is a Head of department role, with a dual focus on execution and strategy designed for someone who understands gaming operations in Africa and can connect multiple teams to deliver results.

You will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations, ensuring markets hit their budget/KPIs, and acting as the operational “glue” across Product, Marketing, CMS, Payments, Customer Care, Finance and local Country Managers.

You will have Country Managers reporting directly into you.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day market execution across campaigns, CMS/content updates, payments, CX escalations and local operations.
  • Track and deliver against core KPIs (stakes, MAU, GGR/NGR, generosity).
  • Identify operational blockers early and coordinate cross-team solutions.
  • Maintain close alignment with Product & Tech stakeholders and Marketing.
  • Act as the execution link across Product, Marketing, CMS, Payments, Customer Care, Finance and local teams.
  • Ensure clarity of priorities, timelines, dependencies and decision-making.
  • Support and collaborate with the in-market leadership of our first Rest of Africa launch market and with future market teams as the region scales.
  • Support operational readiness and launch execution for new african markets.
  • Provide market insight, operational requirements and execution plans.

  • Engage local stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery.
  • Analyse market performance and translate KPIs into operational decisions.
  • Identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities with clear recommended actions.
  • Ensure structured weekly and monthly reporting to the MD Rest of Africa.

What success looks like

  • Our first Rest of Africa launch market achieves budget, growth, and operational stability.
  • Internal teams across Product, Marketing, CMS, Payments and CC execute in sync.
  • A clear, data-backed Rest of Africa market roadmap is defined.
  • Strong partner performance (agencies, payment providers, local ops).
  • High-trust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
