The Head of Product role for Platforms will work closely with the Group Director of Product, the Platform development team, and key stakeholders to ensure the product evolves in line with the company's vision and OKRs.

This role will also drive alignment across the GiG Ecosystem, collaborating with all PAMs, CMS, Front End, Logic, Data, and Sportsbook teams to deliver comprehensive roadmaps and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Focusing on driving KPIs crucial to both the business and clients, we are seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient product professional who understands how to deliver outstanding products that meet the needs of operators and players alike.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring partners have the necessary tools for success. This includes upselling current services, coordinating demos, and providing access to training materials to fully leverage the GiG Ecosystem and its capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be both analytical and creative, capable of identifying opportunities for improvement and product innovation, and effectively communicating these to senior stakeholders for approval. In addition, the role will play a pivotal part in mentoring the platform product team, identifying best practices, and reviewing processes to improve delivery efficiency without compromising quality.

Job Responsibilities

Communication, Organisation, and Alignment

  • Own the vision and strategy for existing products (Platforms, Games and Payments) and other potential verticals, introducing new products and features with clear business cases.
  • Take full ownership of the Platforms Roadmap, including prioritisation, delivery timelines, and communication of key deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Manage a team of highly motivated product owners, driving roadmap delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with management and stakeholders to understand, build, and execute product development roadmaps based on overall business objectives.
  • Ensure all product developments are supported by detailed product requirement documents, functional specifications, and optimal UX/UI designs, working in close partnership with the Design team.
  • Review peers’ product requirements and documentation.
  • Develop and implement products in line with the company's vision.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from customers, stakeholders, and teams to shape product requirements, features, and outcomes.
  • Make innovative recommendations to expand the product base, identify commercial opportunities, and shape the product vision.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and maintain market awareness, providing frequent updates to management.
  • Manage and foster relationships across multiple departments within GiG and with external stakeholders (third parties) to ensure a collaborative culture.

Commercial & Financial Awareness

  • Understand the product in-depth and suggest operationally efficient execution methods.
  • Attend early-stage client meetings and maintain relationships during the initial phases of partner onboarding, especially during migrations.
  • Transition towards operating as a Business Unit and collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper cost allocation to projects and measure project costs and effectiveness.

  • A proven leader with a successful track record of managing and motivating teams to achieve goals.
  • Experienced in leveraging data to deliver impactful solutions within an organisation, driving measurable improvements and results.
  • A data-driven advocate, skilled at generating commercially beneficial ideas for both GiG and its clients, with a focus on maximising business value.
  • Able to provide strategic insights on build vs buy decisions, and recommend hybrid approaches aligned with company objectives—always acting with professionalism and maturity.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of product strategy and execution.
  • Deep experience in product lifecycle management, from ideation to delivery and optimisation.
  • Well-versed in the Agile framework, with the ability to guide teams through sprints, iterations, and continuous delivery.

  • A natural communicator, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
