Head of Procurement

About the Role   As a Head of Procurement, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the end-to-end procurement function, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial, operational, and strategic priorities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for driving disciplined sourcing, strengthening vendor partnerships, and upholding robust governance standards. This position will build on an established procurement foundation and is expected to further enhance efficiency, cost optimization, and risk management across the organization. What You Will Do
  • Lead and oversee all procurement activities across sourcing, vendor management, and governance & excellence
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives across key categories, including Technology, General, and Marketing
  • Ensure procurement activities are aligned with financial targets, cost optimization goals, and business priorities
  • Strengthen vendor management practices, including performance monitoring, negotiations, and risk mitigation
  • Uphold and continuously enhance procurement governance frameworks, policies, and controls
  • Partner closely with business units to support strategic initiatives
  • Have exposure to various Procurement models (notably Coupa) whilst driving process efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the procurement team to ensure strong execution and capability building
  • What You Will Need
  • Minimum 15+ years of professional experience, with at least 5+ years in a procurement leadership role.
  • Proven track record in leading and scaling procurement functions across multiple categories
  • Strong experience in establishing and managing structured procurement frameworks and governance models
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings, drive efficiencies, and create measurable business value
  • Deep experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and supplier risk management
  • Familiarity with digital procurement platforms, preferably Coupa or similar tools
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
