As Head of PX (People Experience), you act as the core driver of the PX operating model in our Mexico, one of our core markets. The role guarantees disciplined, relentless execution of Px priorities, drives the Mexican Px team to focus on what matters the most, provides core support to the market and  partnering with the CEO and Mexican leadership team on PX matters. The role is a core enabler of the PX strategy, is a member of the PX Leadership team and reports directly to Adrian, our CEO Mexico, and to Adanya, our dCPO, ad interim - while we are hiring a PX Director for International Markets). This role is based hybrid in our Mexico City office.

You will create value by:

  • Driving global PX operating model in Mexico, which entails a high level execution of the core BAU activities. Value creation by delivering on KPIs as per targets, and supporting Mexico in doing so.

  • Participating in core PX global projects and initiatives coming from the specialist areas, being the voice of the Mexican market  on projects and the PX Leadership team. Value creation by working on the initiatives to fruition and making sure core design of solutions considers the Mexican markets’ needs and specificities.

  • Running the country PX business review with the Country leader, and the full Go to Market PX review with the dCPO and team. Value will be created by providing clear visibility, identifying gaps and executing on a strategy to cover those and meet the targets in Mexico.

  • Doing talent management at country level, mediating and facilitating talent mobility between global and local. Value will be created by fostering the right moves that goes in the benefit of DP as a whole, optimizing for the best result.

  • Assessing the bench strength of the Mexican leadership team and, particularly with the country leadership team, driving changes needed through either mobility, development, or replacement. Actively participates in the selection process of country leadership team members and advises country manager and team. Value will be created by increasing talent density on the country  level.

  • Building the bridge between local and global PX, ensuring global PX teams prioritizes local demands based on criticality. Value will be created by having global teams considering local priorities.

  • Driving efficiency in the local PX team. Monitoring productivity as per defined standards, and executing on efficiency gains derived from improvements of processes, technology and other gains. Value will be created by having more efficiency in local PX teams.

  • Coaching and developing the Mexican PX team, by providing continuous feedback and support and helping them solve situations. Value will be created by developing a strong PX team.

  • Occasionally deep diving on particular local requests on behalf of the dCPO and CEO MX.

What will help you succeed

Experience:

  • Demonstrated success with driving employee engagement and culture. 

  • Experience leading an HR team with expertise in different HR disciplines (Talent Acquisition as a foundation is required)

  • Building or applying people metrics that drive people and business decisions.

  • Introducing and rolling out HR automation and adjusting systems and processes.

  • Working knowledge of multiple people experience areas, including TA and retention, compensation, organizational diagnosis, performance management and employment laws.

  • Demonstrated experience in change management best practices.

  • Working knowledge of Mexican employment and regulatory law and HR market practices.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.

  • Expertise in leading one of the functional people experience areas is a plus.
