Head of Mechanical Engineering Group | Networking Solutions

We are looking for a Head of Mechanical Engineering Group to strengthen our ambitious R&D team in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a team of up to 8 hardware mechanical engineers, fostering collaboration, motivation and excellence.
• Drive and own the development of new products and improvements of already released products.
• Collaborate with various teams (business development, client support, electronics, etc.) to solve various technical issues and ensure smooth product development.
• Make decisions in regards of mechanical design in accordance with guidelines, project’s use cases and various stakeholders.
• Identify inefficiencies and improve processes in the work of mechanical engineering group.
• Analyse, structure and systematize complex technical and non-technical information.
• Work under compliance with scheduled deadlines.

What we expect of you:

• Have a higher education in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering and at least 1 year of experience in a management position.
• Have knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles, e.g. metal extrusion, stamping. Metal and plastic moulding.
• Have excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Have experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Are fluent in English (reading and writing).
• Are a team player and have result-oriented approach.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 25 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h (~4200 Eur — 6720 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
