Responsibilities
  • Market Oversight and Monitoring:
  • Continuously monitor trading activities to detect and prevent market manipulation, insider trading, fraud, and other unfair practices.
  • Ensure that all market participants comply with the rules and regulations governing the market.
  • Analyze market data and trends to identify irregularities or suspicious activities.

  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure that the market operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities to implement new regulations and guidelines.
  • Oversee the enforcement of market rules and take corrective actions when violations occur.

  • Investigation and Enforcement:
  • Lead investigations into suspected market abuses or breaches of regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to impose sanctions, penalties or other disciplinary measures.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory bodies or law enforcement agencies as needed.

  • Policy Development and Implementation:
  • Participate in the development and review of market rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance market transparency, efficiency, and fairness.
  • Ensure that market participants are informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
  • Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in regulatory and compliance roles within financial markets, cryptocurrency exchanges, and stock exchanges.
  • Strong knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks, with experience working alongside regulators. Familiarity with FSRA rules is a plus.
  • Technical expertise in surveillance tools and related technologies.
