Reporting to - UK Head of Finance

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all H&S and quality procedures have been adhered to.
  • Meeting all weekly, monthly and year-end internal reporting deadlines
  • Maintaining, improving and controlling the quality of the management accounts
  • Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Responsible for the management and development of the management accounting team (3 direct reports)
  • Accountable for the compliance of financial statements with UTAC Group
  • Accounting policies, IFRS and relevant tax law
  • Preparation of subsidiary accounts for external reporting
  • Ongoing Balance Sheet control and review
  • Continually improving financial processes, including system improvements. Devising and implementing change across the business to drive
    efficiency
  • To provide ad-hoc business finance partnering to operations and group.
  • Providing guidance and support to UTAC’s non-UK Finance teams
  • Enforcing strict adherence to financial controls
  • Supporting annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting process
  • Act in accordance with the behaviours for UTAC staff at all times.

Qualifications 

  • Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA

Skills 

  • Strong technical accounting background
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills

Other

  • Flexibility to travel as and when required
  • Full UK driving licence & own transport (UTAC Millbrook is not easily assessable via public transport)
  • Willing to undergo a Criminal Disclosure check
