We are seeking a Head of Game Backend and Mathematics to lead a multidisciplinary group of mathematicians and backend developers responsible for the mathematical and logical foundation of our slot games. This team plays a pivotal role in shaping the game experience through precise reel setups, probability modeling, and the integration of mathematical design into gameplay mechanics.
The ideal candidate combines numerical acumen with technical insight and leadership capability. You should be comfortable engaging with complex mathematical or programming concepts, able to challenge and support your team on a technical level, and capable of driving both operational efficiency and innovation.
Beyond day-to-day management, you will act as a technical visionary — promoting continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies, and fostering a culture of excellence that keeps the team aligned with the latest advancements in technology and mathematics within the global gaming industry.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who thrives at the intersection of numbers, technology, and people — ensuring the team delivers with precision, while continuously elevating the quality and sophistication of their output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mathematicians and backend developers responsible for the core math models and reel configurations of our slot games.
• Maintain a comprehensive view of all active projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance — supporting team members in resolving mathematical and programming challenges.
• Define, implement, and refine processes that enhance the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of the team’s output.
• Champion innovation and technical excellence — introducing new methodologies, technologies, and analytical approaches to improve game math design and delivery.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams, production, and management — ensuring clarity, accountability, and alignment across disciplines.
• Drive a data-informed culture that emphasizes validation, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Support professional growth within the team, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and skill development.
• Represent the team in cross-departmental planning, reviews, and performance discussions.

Essential:

• Strong educational or professional background in a quantitative or technical discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field).
• Proven experience leading or coordinating analytical or software development teams.
• Demonstrated understanding of numerical systems, probability theory, or algorithmic logic.
• Solid technical foundation — preferably with familiarity in backend or mathematical programming (PHP, Python, C++, JavaScript etc.).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Structured, results-driven approach with high standards for quality and accuracy.
• Ability to motivate and guide specialists in both technical and creative problem-solving contexts.

Desirable:

• Experience in slot game development, particularly in mathematical modeling or RNG-based systems.
• Understanding of game certification standards and compliance requirements in regulated markets.
• Track record of implementing process improvements or adopting new technologies within a technical team.
• Passion for innovation, research, and emerging technologies relevant to game mathematics and data modeling.
• Exposure to international work environments or cross-functional collaboration in global teams.
