About the role

We are looking for an operational Finance professional to join our leadership team and serve as a driver of our company's growth. In this role, your primary mission is financial excellence; more than 60% of your impact will be driven by leading our Financial Planning & Analysis, managing funding rounds, and executing accounting operations. While you'll be the "architect of the numbers," you are also a key strategic partner. The remaining portion of your time will be dedicated to steering our organizational strategy alongside the Founders and navigating the legal and compliance landscapes (such as SOC 2 and contract negotiations) that allow us to scale safely and compliant.


Tasks 

 

Finance & Accounting (core focus) 

  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including financial reporting and performance monitoring 
  • Act as a strategic business partner to all departments on financial planning and decision-making 
  • Prepare and coordinate future funding rounds, supporting investor communication and due diligence 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the annual company budget and forecasting processes 
  • Prepare and oversee the annual financial audit in collaboration with external auditors 
  • Manage investor relations and financial communications with shareholders 
  • Oversee end-to-end transactional finance operations, including billing, accounts payable, and payroll 

 

Management & Organization 

  • Collaborate closely with Founders on strategic topics 
  • Contribute as a member of the company's leadership team and participate in regular leadership meetings 
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, banks, accountants, auditors, and legal advisors 
  • Present finance, legal, and compliance topics to the board and support strategic decision-making 

 

Legal & Compliance 

  • Review and negotiate custom legal agreements with enterprise customers 
  • Manage and coordinate the annual SOC 2 Type II certification and related compliance processes 

 

 

Requirements 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, law, management or related field of study 
  • 3+ years of experience in business 
  • Familiar with local regulations in Switzerland 
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and written/spoken communication skills 
  • Fluent in English and German (written and oral) 
  • Hands-on mindset with proactive, can-do attitude 
  • Upbeat team player with ambitions
