Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all finance-related activities across the region.
  • Serve as a member of the Latin America Management Team, contributing to cross-functional decision-making.
  • Oversee and manage the regional function, leading a team of up to 10 professionals across financial reporting, payroll accounting, business control, tax and accounting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in line with global reporting schedules.
  • Drive preparation and consolidation of financial statements and management reports for Latin American operations.
  • Continuously refine and enhance finance related workflows and internal controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with global policies.
  • Implement global finance initiatives at the regional level (e.g., cash pooling, inventory systems, ERP enhancements).
  • Provide financial insights and strategic support to the CEO of Latin America and regional leadership team.
  • Manage periodic budget vs. actual analysis and communicate results to management and stakeholders.
  • Act as a finance business partner, delivering actionable analysis to support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure all financial operations are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and relevant accounting standards.
  • Negotiate and discuss billing related matters with clients.
  • Progressive finance experience, ideally within multinational or matrix organizations.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams within small to mid-sized operations (10–15 staff).
  • Strong technical foundation in finance principles; with working knowledge of business performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with statutory reporting requirements, tax compliance, and working with external auditors.
  • Prior involvement in executive or senior leadership teams, with the ability to contribute strategically across functions.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Practical and operational knowledge of local GAAP and Tax legislation as well as IFRS and Transfer Pricing.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-oriented, with a hands-on leadership style, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a positive attitude toward innovation and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision or similar platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
  • Readiness to work on-site in our office and to travel as necessary to support the Finance team and general business needs in the different countries in the region.
