BOUT YOUR ROLE:

 

Overall responsibility in formulating and driving financial strategy for the organization. Responsible for accounting compliance, trade compliance, legal aspects related to finance & partner business to execute the strategy. 

DIMENSIONS 

 

Direct and lead the finance department covering GL, AP, AR, Credit Collection, Treasury, FP&A, and Controllership.  

Strategic business partner to the General Manager, closely collaborate with other functional heads. 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  1. Collaborate with all functions to achieve top line and bottom line targets of the company 

  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to formulate long term strategic plan and direction of the organization 

  3. Drive transformational changes in the organization in line with the strategic direction of the company.

  4. Prepare the annual budget of the company and formulate strategies to achieve both the set top and bottom lines and routinely monitor company performance against the same.

  5. Provide overall direction in terms of capital investment projects 

  6. Managing working capital. 

  7. Ensure that the Company Secretarial, Trade Compliance & Legal functions of the company are carried out appropriately

  8. Responsible for submitting monthly management accounts and quarterly financial forecasts in line with corporate timelines 

  9. Overlook post costing functions and profitability of retailer accounts. 

  10. Continuously improve Financial and Management Accounting / Information System and related internal controls.

  11. Facilitate statutory and internal audits.

  12. Overlook company credit control functions and approve credit to the customers.

  13. Liaise with banks, BOI, auditors, secretaries, lawyers, suppliers, customers and other financial institutions. 

  14. Identify training and development needs of the staff and ensure that they are addressed in time.

  15. Take part in the global and regional Finance Controllers meetings.

  16. Overall responsibility for career development/ training/ succession planning for Finance team members.  

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Represent the company at various associations. 

  2. Meeting with customers and providing solutions for their needs.

  3. Assisting in the manpower planning and HR development processes, EHS , ISO projects.

  4. To motivate, coach and mentor direct reports

  1. A member of IAI, CIMA or ACCA with at least 10 years’ experience in financial management out of which 5 years should be at Finance Head equivalent

  2. Deep expertise in specialty finance functions such as reporting, compliance, procurement.

  3. Strong verbal and written presentation & communication skills. 

  4. A master degree in Business Administration would be a great value

  5. Excellent analytical skills, financial resources management skills, communication skills, people management skills, interpersonal skills are essential

  6. Excellent knowledge in the use of MS Office package
