As the Head of Accounting and Finance you will be responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of financial records as well as leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cost accounting to support the company's financial goals. In this senior role, you will act as a key partner in the financial decision-making process, contributing to the achievement of the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and controlling with proven leadership skills and the ability to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the accounting and finance function.

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions, financial reporting, and cost accounting,
• Ensure timely and accurately period/month ends processes and associated managerial accounting tasks and reports.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements,
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements,
• Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, authorities, financial institutions and regulatory agencies,
• Plan, control, and implement the annual budgeting process,
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and accounts ensuring they are produced on a timely basis (include KPI reports, budget, variance analysis),
• Lead financial planning and forecasting processes, including budgeting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning,
• Provide insights into key performance metrics and financial indicators to CEO and senior management,
• Supervise tax declarations with ensuring compliance and guidelines set out by authorities,
• Lead Teknopark tax declations, and project management,
• Monitor and analyze accounting and other financial processes, creating a culture of continuous improvement to minimize costs and other inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. A master’s degree is an asset ,
• At least 10 years in accounting, finance, and controlling roles,
• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent is an asset,
• Sound knowledge and experience on Turkish GAAP and IFRS,
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Canias preferred), advanced Excel, financial modeling, and reporting purposes,
• Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements,
• Sound backround in Technopark regulations and tax implications,
• Experience in R&D and production processes,
• Strong communication skills,

• Very good English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
