AI overview

Design and manage the technical backbone of the Enterprise GTM/Revenue function while driving high-impact global B2B initiatives in a fast-paced AI growth environment.

Perplexity is an AI-powered answer engine founded in December 2022 and growing rapidly as one of the world’s leading AI platforms. Perplexity has raised over $1B in venture investment from some of the world’s most visionary and successful leaders, including Elad Gil, Daniel Gross, Jeff Bezos, Accel, IVP, NEA, NVIDIA, Samsung, and many more. Our objective is to build accurate, trustworthy AI that powers decision-making for people and assistive AI wherever decisions are being made. Throughout human history, change and innovation have always been driven by curious people. Today, curious people use Perplexity to answer more than 780 million queries every month–a number that’s growing rapidly for one simple reason: everyone can be curious.

Perplexity is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Head of Enterprise Operations and Systems to design, scale, and manage the technical backbone of our Enterprise GTM/Revenue function. This individual role demands a combination of both architect and operator - designing systems and processes, then rolling up your sleeves to deploy, monitor, and continuously improve them.

While our B2C side has seen tremendous organic growth, we’re now looking to invest heavily into our global B2B motions and infrastructure. This is a high-impact role on our small but mighty Enterprise team at the intersection of technology, revenue, and operations, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, hyper-growth environments.

Responsibilities

    • Own and execute a comprehensive strategy for GTM/Revenue operations and systems that aligns with company growth objectives
    • Deploy, integrate, and maintain the end-to-end GTM/Revenue technology stack, including marketing (lead) inbound/outbound, crm/sales, operations, reporting, and workflow and data automation platforms
    • Own day-to-day operations of GTM/Revenue systems, ensuring reliability, data quality, and user adoption across marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer success teams
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on GTM/Revenue performance metrics and KPIs, surfacing key insights to drive action and measuring channel effectiveness
    • Identify key gaps and areas of improvement across the tech stack that aligns with business objectives
    • Ensure compliance standards are met across all applications and integrations such as SDLC, access controls, auditability, vendor management, data retention and backup, ongoing data quality checks
    • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities related to business systems, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in GTM/Revenue operations, business systems, or related roles within high-growth SaaS or AI-related companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with tactical execution—can both set vision and build systems from the ground up
  • Expertise in domain areas such as Lead to Cash, CPQ, GTM Ops, etc. Can flex into other areas as this role grow
  • Proven experience architecting and operating GTM/Revenue tech stacks, including hands-on expertise with:
    • Marketing automation tools like Typeform, Zoom, Hubspot, Loops, and Unify
    • Sales and outreach tools like Salesforce (bonus if you’re also a hybrid Developer/Architect), Calendly, Granola, and Apollo
    • Automation and data platforms like Zapier, Clay, Floqer, and DemandTools
    • Data pipeline tools e.g. reverse ETL solutions like Hightouch, and familiarity with Fivetran, Omni
  • Deep understanding of sales and marketing processes, data flows, and automation best practices
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data modeling, reporting, and performance optimization

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead the operational and technical foundation for a hyper-growth AI company at a pivotal stage. If you are equal parts strategist, builder, and operator, and passionate about scaling world-class GTM/Revenue systems - we want to hear from you.
