Position Overview: The Head of Data will be responsible for overseeing all data-related initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security, while driving strategic insights and decision-making through analytics. This role requires a strategic leader who can establish robust data governance practices, manage data analytics infrastructure, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an organization-wide data strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead data governance efforts to ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity of data assets.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure and analytics platforms.
• Establish standards and protocols for data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify data-driven opportunities and solutions.
• Manage the existing data team, which includes data analysts and data entry clerks
• Drive continuous improvement in data practices, analytics methodologies, and technology advancements.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making at executive levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in managing data teams and driving data strategy.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and analytics infrastructure.
• Experience with data analytics tools, platforms, and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker capable of identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through advanced data analysis.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
