We're looking for a Head of Data to join our team in London as part of our Data Science function.

Your Role:  

You will run our newly created ‘Data department of Excellence’. Acuity Pricing webscrapes millions of lines of data every day, processes them through our proprietary algorithms and AI interfaces and delivers these in a user friendly way to our end users- market leading UK brands and retailers. Reporting to the MD and working alongside the product team, the new Head of Data will be responsible for owning this data, creating new dashboards and visualizations to help quality control, tell data stories and spot and analyse trends. Finding new and exciting ways to productise our data. In this new role it is important to be a self starter, naturally curious and be able to build a data strategy and prioritisation in order to consistently add value.

As our Head of Data, you'll:

  • Own our data journey from acquisition to visualization, ensuring top-notch quality and integrity
  • Craft and drive strategies to continually enhance our data processes
  • Collaborate with our AI Lead and Catalogue Manager to boost efficiencies using AI tools
  • Create compelling data visualizations that tell powerful stories
  • Spot trends and develop meaningful retail insights with our analysts and content writers
  • Explore innovative ways to add value for our clients through new data products and services
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work
  • Proven success in leading data teams and driving data-centric projects
  • Expertise with data tools like SQL, Python, and Power BI or Tableau
  • Advanced Excel skills that make spreadsheets sing
  • A knack for turning complex data into clear, actionable stories
