Job Summary

Reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing and working across demand generation, product marketing, communications, brand, and revenue, this role owns Versa's content program from strategy through execution. Versa has strong technical differentiation in a crowded, noisy market. This role is about building the infrastructure to tell that story consistently, at scale, and with measurable impact.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Versa's brand narrative and security-first, AI-native positioning across all content channels, in close collaboration with the VP of Corporate Marketing
  • Define and own the content strategy and editorial calendar across blogs, technical explainers, whitepapers, case studies, email, social, and executive thought leadership
  • Establish and maintain Versa's editorial voice and high quality standards across all channels
  • Translate complex technical concepts across SASE, SD-WAN, SSE, and AI-driven security into content that resonates with both practitioners and business decision-makers
  • Partner with web experience, SEO, and analytics teams to ensure content is structured for discoverability and aligned to user journey and conversion goals
  • Define the metrics that matter, set clear KPIs, and report regularly on performance across traffic, engagement, SEO, and pipeline contribution
  • Lead content audits to identify gaps and make data-driven investment decisions
  • Manage external partners including copywriters and content agencies to clear goals and timelines
  • Integrate content with demand generation, event marketing, and revenue teams across the full funnel
  • Operate with empathy for our sophisticated and technical buying committees
  • Ensure content is grounded in evidence and real practitioner experience
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of content marketing experience in B2B technology, with strong preference for cybersecurity, networking, or enterprise infrastructure
  • At least 3 years managing teams, agencies, or both
  • A portfolio demonstrating you can write about technically complex topics clearly and build programs that perform across multiple formats
  • Experience defining content metrics, running audits, and making strategy decisions based on data
  • Deep knowledge of SEO best practices and how AI-powered search systems evaluate and surface content
  • Fluency with AI writing and research tools and strong judgment about how to use them well
  • Bachelor's degree

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $180,000 to $220,000. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
