The Role

As the Head of Community Marketing at Selector.ai, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our product/engineering teams and the global community of network operators, SREs, and developers who build on, integrate with, and champion our platform. You will establish Selector.ai as the definitive thought leader in AIOps and Network Observability.

This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical depth, community-building expertise, and strategic vision.



Key Responsibilities

Community & Advocacy

  • Thought Leadership: Establish Selector.ai and yourself as a leading voice in AIOps, Network LLMs, Digital Twins, and Observability by producing and promoting high-value technical content.
  • Community Engagement: Build, nurture, and moderate a vibrant technical community across various channels (Slack, forums, GitHub, etc.) to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and peer-to-peer support.
  • Events & Speaking: Represent Selector.ai at major industry conferences, meetups, and hackathons, delivering technical presentations and keynotes that showcase the power and integration possibilities of our platform.
  • Podcasts & Webinars: Be the host of Selector webinar and podcast series helping drive awareness and thought leadership within the AIOps and Networking communities.

Technical Content & Developer Experience (DevEx)

  • Hands-on Technical Content: Create best-in-class technical content, including code samples, SDK usage guides, API tutorials, deep-dive blog posts, and video demonstrations focused on the Selector.ai platform, its APIs, MCPs and its Network LLM.
  • Feedback Loop: Systematically gather, analyze, and synthesize developer feedback and pain points to inform and influence the product and engineering roadmaps.
  • Customer Trainings: Engage with the sales and account management teams on conducting onsite and virtual training with key accounts on the art of possible and new and disruptive capabilities with AI and Networking.

Social Content Creation:

  • Leverage your platform to be the voice of Selector: Leverage your following/reach and reach in the community to advocate for Selector Customers and Prospects. Show and demonstrate the capabilities of Selector and the value and disruption we are bringing.
    • 3 Social Posts a week promoting Selector
    • 1 Video a Week highlighting a Selector feature

Lead Generation:

  • Free Tooling: Develop 1 free tool a quarter in collaboration with our product and engineering team with the goal of highlighting the art of possible with Selector and Networking, and creating disruptive features that could eventually end up in the product, but to start generating leads and interest.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or a similar customer-facing technical role
  • Technical Domain Expertise: Deep, verifiable experience in at least two of the following domains: AIOps, Network Engineering/Operations, Observability (logs, metrics, traces), SRE practices, or Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in IT.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with a proven ability to distill complex technical concepts (like NLLM, Digital Twin, etc.) into clear, engaging content for a highly technical audience.
  • Coding Proficiency: A strong technical foundation with the ability to write or review code, build demos, and work hands-on with APIs/SDKs, ideally with languages like Python, Go, or JavaScript.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Experience defining and measuring DevRel success using metrics like developer adoption, engagement rate, content ROI, and product feedback impact.

Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
