Head of Collections (f/m/x)

As Head of Collections (f/m/x), you will lead and scale our international Collections team. You’ll work at the intersection of Finance, Engineering, and Tech, designing processes that directly impact Enpal’s profitability. You will drive efficiency and innovation through automation and AI, shape the collections journey for new products, and continuously improve performance across markets.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing international team
• Own day-to-day collections and recovery processes with measurable impact
• Design end-to-end collections strategies for new products
• Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities and improve payment performance
• Drive automation and AI initiatives in collaboration with Tech
• Report to and influence senior leadership with clear KPIs and insights
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and process standards

• Higher education degree, ideally in finance or business management
• Several years of experience in a fast‑paced environment
• Proven team leadership experience within retail banking, fintech, or a comparable industry
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking skills
• Hands‑on, execution‑driven mentality
• Strong communication skills with confidence in presenting KPIs to senior leadership
• Initial experience applying AI in operational processes (preferred)
• Fluent in German (C1/C2 Level)
