Summary:
Rise at Seven is looking for a Senior Account Director / Head of Client Services to lead the team into another year of growth in 2026. With 8+ years experience in similar agencies we’re looking for someone with broad knowledge across paid, owned, earned and shared media channels and the ability to inspire, lead and hold a team to account when delivering world class creative work for global brands.
The role can either be in our Manchester or London offices, with the expectation to be in the office a minimum of 2 days a week and regular travel to client’s offices.
Experience Required:
- 8+ years Client Services experience working in media agencies, specifically with social, search, creators/influencers, SEO and Digital PR channels (paid and organic)
- Evidence of building long term partnerships between your agency and clients through deep understanding of the impact digital marketing can have on their business
- Those long term partnerships should be measured not just in retention, but growth - you should be able to demonstrate the ability to spot strategically relevant opportunities and successfully close those deals
- Ability to deliver complex multi-channel campaigns, effectively leading a multi-discipline team towards a successful activation and an “on time on budget” outcome
- Proven talent that’s calm under pressure but capable of holding everyone, even those outside of your team, to account to ensure workload is balanced and creative quality is maintained
- Ability to communicate upwards and downwards (internally and externally), knowing the detail of you and your team’s accounts at all times - from overburn to upsell numbers

Leadership
Lead and inspire the team to deliver well, retain and grow our accounts resulting in hitting retention targets and contributing to growth targets
Growth
Grow your portfolio of client’s value, reporting on that growth into the Client Partner’s overall incremental growth target
Delivery
Lead the standards on how we deliver both single and multi channel work, on time and on budget at all times, reporting on retention and profitability to the Chief Growth Officer
Balance between Growth and Delivery:
Growth
- Come with a naturally inquisitive nature to give yourself a deep understanding of our client’s businesses and be a trusted strategic partner to them
- Identify opportunities to grow your clients’ accounts and increase our impact – identify what they need before your clients even do, working collaboratively with internal teams and our senior management to get things done, going beyond the brief
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Channel teams to deliver effective solutions to client briefs, and ensure we deliver to the clients’ expectations and beyond where possible
- Lead the client/agency relationships with senior stakeholders
- Look after the agency’s most valuable accounts and be responsible for the revenue of these accounts
- Be a trusted partner, acting as the first escalation point for your portfolio of clients
- See all contracts from start to finish, including contract negotiation, creation of contract and final review of terms of contract and sign off
- Regularly update CRM software with any cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain client renewal tracking to ensure teams keep on top of upcoming renewals and compelling plans are in place leaving clients eager to sign off on new 12 month SOWs
- Reporting on client satisfaction and be able to identify ways to continuously improve and maintain this
- Report on the growth of your accounts to the Client Partner
- Each of your accounts will have a Rise at Seven Board Member as a sponsor, you are expected to keep them informed of client performance and relationship
- Join pitches and assist on new business activities where required, and to delegate and coach other senior members of the Client Services team should they be required to be involved in pitches
Delivery
- Deliver first class service to our clients, exceeding their expectations with impeccable communication standards from not just yourself but across the team
- Delegate tasks to internal teams, ensuring you keep activities running to schedule and plans established well in advance of activity
- Develop and maintain a client call schedule and distribute to the relevant people internally, always ensuring that they are up to date with the demands of these accounts
- Lead on client meetings for any key accounts you’re involved in, making sure that any documents are prepared accordingly, are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion to facilitate productive meetings
- Spot opportunities to make the way we deliver work for clients better, bringing proactive ideas and solutions to relevant Heads of Departments to streamline our approach or find efficiencies
- Maintain a standard across the team of “we do what we said we’d do, when we said we’d do it” to build trust with our clients and subsequently retain them
- Maintain SLAs related to efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that deadlines will be met
- Chair calls and meetings with clients or internal teams, sharing agendas and make sure “brilliant basics” such as follow up actions are shared efficiently and effectively from both yourself and the team - be the standard setter
- Be the last touch quality control of what goes out to our clients and hold our team to account maintaining those standards
- Manage your clients’ budgets effectively and always look out for opportunities to maximise effectiveness of that spend for both client and Rise at Seven
- Keeping all client/agency documentation up to date (WIPs, including roadmaps)
