The Director of Central Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for five core departments within the Central Team: Central Order Approval, Business Systems, Business Operations, Warehouse Inventory Control, and Project Management. This role ensures cross‑functional alignment, operational excellence, and the effective execution of enterprise‑wide initiatives by directing high‑performing teams, optimizing systems and processes, and driving organizational performance across all centralized functions.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrates advanced knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and operational best practices to ensure organizational alignment and risk mitigation.
  • People Leadership: First class people skills applies exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to develop talent, drive engagement, and utilize proven performance evaluation methodologies to build a high‑performing workforce.
  • Operations Management: Provides strategic oversight and continuous optimization of daily operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Business Systems Governance
    Oversees the maintenance, reporting, and enhancement of business systems, including ERP and CRM platforms. Leads the creation of SOPs, training materials, and work instructions while directing the deployment of system initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Business Operations Leadership
    Provides strategic leadership for all JBRx accounts receivable collections, directs Costco Program Systems Management, and leads the training and governance of Costco Systems. Manages a centralized, high‑performing team responsible for mission‑critical system and financial operations.
  • Inventory Control & Compliance
    Ensures accurate inventory maintenance and reporting for JBRx Market operations, including oversight of safety protocols, operational support, and compliance with regulatory standards. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Project Management
    Leads the Project Management team in the deployment of new system initiatives and the execution of both current and emerging operational programs, ensuring timely delivery and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Compliance & Organizational Adherence
    Ensures organizational compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and operational standards, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership & Organizational Excellence
    Demonstrates exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational capabilities to guide teams, strengthen operational performance, and support enterprise‑wide initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support multiple projects, drive alignment, and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Compensation: $155,000+ depending on experience, plus eligibility for bonus

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience spanning people management, business systems, and procedural operations, with a proven record of driving organizational performance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, deployment, and training of CRM and ERP platforms, ensuring system adoption, data integrity, and operational alignment.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting systems and accounts receivable collections, with the ability to optimize financial workflows and uphold fiscal accountability.
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory management, material handling, and warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across supply chain functions.
  • Direct experience leading project management efforts, including the implementation of enterprise system initiatives and cross‑functional operational programs.
  • Recognized for an innovative mindset and strong critical‑thinking capabilities, with a consistent ability to solve complex problems, enhance processes, and strengthen employee engagement and retention.
