Head of AI, Gaming Services

Position: Head of AI

Location: Austin, Texas (Remote)

PTW is seeking an experienced AI Director to lead the development of our AI program and help create innovative AI-based solutions for our services, games and products. As the AI Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI strategies, managing a team of AI developers and researchers, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• • Lead the development and implementation of AI strategies, including identifying business problems that can be solved with AI and designing solutions to address them.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and build AI solutions, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of AI projects, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement best practices for AI development, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the quality and scalability of AI solutions, including identifying and addressing issues with data quality, model accuracy, and performance.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in AI technology and best practices, and share knowledge with the team and the wider organization.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, including coaching on technical skills, best practices, and professional development.
• Oversee the entire AI program, from research and development to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product , programmers, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and goals for AI-based solutions.
• Use your deep understanding of creating AI-based solutions for games to develop innovative and engaging AI features.
• Conduct research on AI technologies and techniques, and evaluate their potential for integration into our games.
• Implement best practices for AI development, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AI solutions, using metrics and analytics to continuously improve performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in AI development, with a focus on game development and a track record of building and delivering high-quality AI solutions for games.
• Strong technical skills in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and other AI technologies.
• Experience growing and managing cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, UX under the AI program
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically about AI solutions for games.
• Experience in developing AI-based solutions for games, that involve character behavior, animation, and real-time decision-making would be a nice plus
• Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.
