Brands and agencies come to us because we understand families better than anyone else, and we’re looking for a brilliant Agency Partner to help us grow those relationships even further.

The Role

As Head of Agency Sales, you will lead and manage Mumsnet’s agency sales team, with full accountability for team performance, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy and revenue delivery across our agency partnerships.

This is a senior management role, reporting into the CRO, with responsibility for building and scaling a high-performing team of experienced agency sales professionals. While you will maintain senior agency relationships yourself, the primary focus of the role is on leadership, performance management, commercial strategy and enabling the team to consistently exceed targets.

You will play a critical role in shaping Mumsnet’s agency-facing commercial strategy, strengthening our position across UK agency groups and ensuring we are a trusted, high-value partner to agencies and their clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach and line-manage the agency sales team, setting clear expectations, priorities and performance standards.
  • Own agency pipeline management and forecasting, ensuring disciplined sales processes, accurate reporting and clear accountability.
  • Run regular team meetings, pipeline reviews and one-to-ones, using data and insight to drive performance improvement.
  • Set and lead Mumsnet’s senior agency engagement strategy, including ownership of trading agreements and executive-level relationships across major UK agency groups and key independent agencies.
  • Build, maintain and unlock senior-level relationships across major UK agency groups and key independent agencies.
  • Support and lead complex negotiations, including trading agreements and strategic partnerships with agencies.
  • Work closely with the CRO and wider commercial leadership to define agency strategy, targets and growth priorities.
  • Collaborate with Product, Planning and Marketing teams to ensure agency propositions are compelling, differentiated and commercially effective.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales operations, tooling, reporting and analytical capability across the team.
  • Represent Mumsnet externally at relevant industry events, forums and agency meetings.
  • Work to embed AI in the agency sales process, delivering improvements in client understanding, relationship building and pipeline management.

What Success Looks Like

  • A well-led, motivated agency sales team with clear goals, strong morale and improving performance over time.
  • Consistent delivery against agency revenue targets, supported by a healthy, high-quality forward pipeline.
  • High forecast accuracy and clear visibility of performance, risks and opportunities across the agency channel.
  • Strengthened senior relationships across the UK agency landscape, leading to deeper partnerships and increased commercial opportunities.
  • Clear evidence that the agency sales function is operating with discipline, insight and commercial impact.
  • Growing Mumsnet influence across the agency landscape through involvement in agency events, research projects and client roadshows - positioning Mumsnet as the UKs leading community platform.
  • Clear gains in productivity and revenue through the implementation of AI.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven track record of driving revenue growth through team leadership, agency partnerships and complex commercial agreements.
  • Strong operational and analytical skills, with experience managing pipelines, forecasts and sales performance data.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to operate at senior agency and executive level.
  • A pragmatic, commercially minded leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on management.
  • Collaborative, supportive management style with high standards and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • A strong understanding of the power of community, the important role Mumsnet plays in the UK, and alignment with our values.
