About the Role

Pulse Healthcare is now recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Head & Neck Sonographer to support our client in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to secure locum work at competitive rates, with enhanced pay available for weekend shifts.

We are seeking a specialist who is confident in performing head and neck ultrasound scans within a busy hospital environment, with a proven track record of working in the NHS.


Key Responsibilities

  • Independently perform high-quality head and neck ultrasound examinations.

  • Produce accurate and detailed imaging reports to support clinical pathways.

  • Work effectively alongside consultants and wider multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ensure patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

  • Maintain compliance with all clinical governance, safeguarding, and professional standards.


Requirements

  • HCPC registration (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience as a Sonographer.

  • Proven specialist experience in Head & Neck ultrasound.

  • Band 7 level experience (or equivalent).

  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends (uplifted pay available).
