We are looking for a Hardware Validation Technician to support our client's team onsite in Santa Clara, CA. This is a full-time (W-2) 6 month contract role. We offer competitive pay $30/hr - $48/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!

What you'll be doing:

System Recovery, Flashing & Readiness
Triage issues, capture basic logs, and escalate appropriately.
Bench/Rack/System Setup & Maintenance
Support OS vetting and OEM software validation
Prepare systems for performance, power, display, connectivity, and other validation scenarios.
Parts, Rework & RMA Coordination
Asset Tracking, Reservations & Documentation

What We Need to See:

3+ years as a lab or system technician supporting PC/SoC or embedded platforms.
Hands-on skill with imaging, BIOS/firmware flashing, and basic debug (console, boot media, cabling).
Familiarity with lab operations, reservation systems, asset tracking, and safety practices.
Strong communication and documentation discipline.
Experience supporting Windows, Linux, and mixed-environment validation workflows.
Exposure to display/USB-C/PD/power bring-up workflows.
Experience coordinating with hardware rework teams and managing RMA cycles.
