Contribute to the design and production of electronic assemblies by developing test plans and ensuring compliance with industry standards through rigorous testing.
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with expertise in hardware and PCB-level testing to support the design, validation, and production of electronic assemblies. The ideal candidate will develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot board-level issues, and ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
This role is fully onsite
Salary: $120-140k/yr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and execute test procedures for PCB assemblies, electronic components, and hardware systems.
Perform functional, in-circuit, and environmental stress testing on PCB boards and subsystems.
Design and maintain custom test fixtures, jigs, and automated test setups.
Troubleshoot and isolate hardware/PCB failures to component level, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate with hardware design, manufacturing, and quality teams to support new product introduction and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., IPC, MIL-STD, or IEC) during testing and documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline
