Location & Remote Work

Our technology team works on the "remote-first" model, which means we are working from home with the possibility of living anywhere in Brazil. We also have the option of using QuintoAndar's offices in São Paulo and Campinas or using partner coworking spaces, both up to twice a week.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a professional with an analytical and leadership-oriented profile, who has excellent communication skills and can effectively position themselves in various situations and discussions related to quality.
This individual should be capable of leading quality initiatives within an engineering team composed of software engineers, product professionals, designers, data analysts, and managers.
Although knowledge of test automation is a plus, the hired person will not be coding. The focus is strategic: we are looking for someone who will serve as a quality reference within the engineering team, responsible for assessing processes, systems, and people, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions.
Additionally, this person will be responsible for implementing processes and best quality practices aligned with the guidelines of the Quality Chapter, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the entire development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and support quality metrics;
• Manage quality controls and indicators to improve the results not only of your immediate team’s but with the whole product team - by sharing inputs/methodologies/etc;
• Map, analyze and model processes and workflows with a focus on improvements and automation;
• Propose solutions for complex situations through process mapping;
• Multifunctional communication between different management levels in the company;
• Manage third party testing processes in the projects under your responsibility;
• Intensify and disseminate quality practices to your squad and tribe members;
• Strong collaboration on quality chapter and cross team initiatives, sharing knowledge and helping on chapter decisions.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in software quality processes and metrics;

• Experience in shift-left testing;
• Skills in interpreting and analyzing functional and non-functional requirements;
• Solid knowledge in testing techniques, test coverage, elaboration of test plans and cases and test execution.
• Proactively learning and improving software quality;
• Work collaboratively to ensure the customer experience is the best possible;
• Good quality practices in software development;
• Analytical ability to evolve and iterate the company's processes;
• Promote root cause resolutions;
• Ensure that a cycle of continuous improvement occurs within the team to reduce defects and incidents.

You'll stand out if you:

• Experience in agile methodologies;
• Experience in BDD;
• Experience in Jira.
