We’re seeking a Growth Operations Manager to be an individual contributor and support the execution of ServBeyond’s growth strategy by providing hands-on operational, analytical, and content support across the business development, capture, proposal, and marketing lifecycle.
About the Role
The Growth Operations Manager role is designed for a GovCon-savvy professional who can translate market intelligence and customer context into actionable growth support, enabling high-quality customer engagements, informed pursuit decisions, and consistent, polished messaging. This role is critical to ensure ServBeyond’s growth engine is informed, coordinated, and execution ready. The Growth Operations Manager acts as a force multiplier, helping leadership and technical teams stay focused on high-value opportunities while presenting a polished, credible, mission-aligned presence to customers and partners. The role works closely with the Vice President of Digital Services, BD/Capture leadership, technical SMEs, and proposal teams to ensure ServBeyond presents a credible, coordinated, and compelling presence across the federal and state/local market.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Briefing Support

Support preparation for customer briefings, demos, and capability discussions, including agenda development, talking points, demo coordination, and leave-behind materials

Assist in tailoring briefing materials to specific agency missions, customer personas, and procurement contexts

Coordinate input from technical SMEs, partners, and leadership to ensure meetings are well-prepared and outcome-oriented
Pipeline Data Entry, Research, & Market Intelligence

Conduct ongoing research on active and emerging opportunities in the pipeline using sources such as SAM.gov, GovTribe, agency portals, and public forecasts

Monitor and comb opportunity portals for Sources Sought, RFIs, Draft RFPs, and market research notices

Evaluate agency forecasts, budget signals, and procurement trends to identify near- and mid-term growth opportunities

Summarize findings in clear, executive-friendly formats that inform capture and pursuit decisions

Enter new and maintain existing opportunity records in the SharePoint Pipeline

Prepare structured pursuit assessments and market research summaries that help leadership determine whether to engage on an opportunity

Build concise cases for pursuit that outline customer need, strategic fit, competitive landscape, and ServBeyond relevance

Support early capture activities by gathering background on incumbents, partners, customer priorities, and acquisition posture
Proposal & Capture Enablement

Provide editing and white-glove support to proposal volumes to improve clarity, compliance, tone, and consistency

Help build and maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, and reusable artifacts aligned to ServBeyond’s value proposition

Assist, as needed, with resume formatting, key personnel write-ups, and capability statement development

Ensure proposal and capture materials reflect a consistent narrative, win themes, and brand voice
Industry Awareness & Event Intelligence

Remain abreast of industry events, conferences, agency days, and networking forums relevant to ServBeyond’s target markets

Track where ServBeyond should have strategic representation (attendance, sponsorship, speaking, or partner engagement)

Support pre- and post-event preparation by developing briefing notes, talking points, and follow-up summaries
Content Development & Messaging Consistency

Support content creation for growth-related materials, including thought leadership snippets, capability highlights, and customer-facing messaging

Assist with social media and external content development (e.g., LinkedIn posts, event announcements, milestone highlights) to ensure consistency in messaging

Help align external communications with ServBeyond’s positioning, priorities, and growth narrative
Qualifications
Required
-
8+ years of experience in Government Contracting, with exposure to BD, capture, proposals, or growth operations
-
Working knowledge of federal procurement processes, including RFIs, Sources Sought, forecasts, and competitive positioning

Ability to understand and articulate customer agency missions, stakeholder relationships, and GovCon dynamics
-
Strong writing, editing, and synthesis skills; able to turn complex inputs into clear, professional outputs

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in parallel

Proficient with common GovCon tools and platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, GovTribe, SharePoint, Microsoft Office)
Preferred

Experience supporting digital services, IT modernization, CX/contact centers, ServiceNow, or enterprise platforms

Prior experience supporting small to mid-sized GovCon firms in growth or operations roles

Familiarity with proposal color reviews, compliance checks, and capture planning activities

Comfort working in fast-moving, growth-oriented environments with evolving priorities

Salary Range
The salary range for the Growth Operations Manager position is competitive and commensurate with experience, typically between $130,000 – $140,000 annually, plus bonus, depending on experience, education, and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and career development opportunities.
