Growth Marketing Manager

About Carry

Carry helps business owners and high earners build wealth through smarter tax optimization. We started with Solo 401(k)s for self-employed entrepreneurs and have expanded into financial education, investment products, and integrated tax services.

We operate a media-first growth system that generates significant top-of-funnel attention through education and content.

The challenge is not attention.

The challenge is conversion, activation, and monetization.

This role exists to turn that attention into efficient, predictable, and scalable revenues.

About the role

The Growth Marketing Manager is the owner of Carry’s conversion and lifecycle engine.

You will be responsible for how prospects move from first interaction → signup → activation → paid conversion → upsells → retention across our marketing website, funnels, and email automations.

This is not a campaign manager role. This is a revenue ownership role.

At the heart of this role is a single truth: Attention is an input. Conversion and lifecycle are the system.

You will combine website conversion optimization, funnel experimentation, lifecycle email & automation, and copywriting + analytics into one integrated growth system that compounds over time.

What you’ll do

  • Own the conversion performance of carry.com, including homepage, product pages, pricing, trust, and CTAs.

  • Diagnose friction across the full customer journey from first interaction to paid conversion and retention.

  • Design and run a continuous experimentation roadmap to improve conversion rates, activation, and revenue per visitor.

  • Write and iterate on high-performing conversion copy for landing pages, funnels, and lifecycle emails.

  • Build and optimize lifecycle email automations, including onboarding, lead nurture, upsells, renewals, and win-back flows.

  • Turn email into a core revenue and activation channel, not a broadcast or newsletter-only surface.

  • Partner closely with design, engineering, content, and leadership to ship improvements quickly.

  • Own funnel and lifecycle metrics end-to-end, using data to decide what to fix, test, and scale next.

Who you are

  • A growth marketer with taste. You know what “good” versus “great” conversion looks like, and you can feel friction before the data confirms it.

  • Deeply fluent in fintech or regulated products (2+ years required). You understand how trust, compliance, and education affect conversion in financial products.

  • A marketer who loves systems. You think in funnels, journeys, triggers, and experiments and you design things to compound over time.

  • Equally comfortable writing copy and reading dashboards. You can move from headline → automation → metric without dropping context.

  • A hands-on operator. You don’t outsource thinking or execution. You ship, test, learn, and iterate yourself.

  • Obsessed with customer psychology. You care about why people hesitate, what questions block action, and how education drives better decisions.

  • Motivated by impact. You want clear ownership, clear numbers, and the satisfaction of watching a system you built outperform month after month.

Compensation

  • Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

  • Equity: Generous equity package

  • Benefits: Competitive health, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, 401(K) match, and other benefits
