Growth Marketing Manager

AI overview

Own and scale retention and performance marketing channels with direct impact on revenue, working closely with executives in a high-performing environment.

Bodily is a venture-backed women's health company transforming underserved categories through product innovation and data-driven growth strategy. We design research-backed products for major life transitions—postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, pregnancy loss—addressing clinical needs with the rigor and sophistication typically reserved for consumer tech or luxury retail.

Our investors include Hearst Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and Global Founders Capital, alongside strategic backers Brooklyn Decker, Andy Roddick, and Katherine Schwarzenegger-Pratt. We've built a scaled DTC business with expanding wholesale partnerships (including national distribution at Target) and are executing a growth roadmap across channels.

What makes Bodily unique as a career opportunity is the combination of early-stage strategic breadth with seasoned operational leadership. You'll work directly with executives who have built and scaled category-defining businesses:

This is a rare opportunity to gain the analytical and strategic range of a growth-stage company while learning from executives with decades of experience at the highest levels of marketing, finance, operations, and brand building.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own and scale our highest-leverage retention and performance marketing channels. This is a revenue-driving role with direct accountability for growth and retention performance.

You will own email marketing and performance influencer channels, manage our referral program, and collaborate with paid media on broader growth initiatives. You understand how acquisition, retention, CAC, LTV, and creative performance work together across the funnel.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role. You will lead key revenue channels, support cross-functional marketing execution, and operate with a clear understanding of how acquisition, retention, creative, and margin work together. You measure your impact in revenue.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Email Marketing (Klaviyo – Required) – Full ownership of Klaviyo strategy and execution. Build and optimize lifecycle flows (welcome, post-purchase, sunset, winback). Plan and execute campaign calendars aligned with business goals. Lead segmentation, testing, and deliverability best practices. Drive measurable increases in retention and LTV. Report clearly on performance and insights.

Performance Influencer & Affiliate Marketing – Own and scale our performance-based influencer program. Source, onboard, and manage creators who drive measurable conversions. Manage affiliate platforms including ShopMy and Awin (experience preferred). Structure commissions and track ROI at the partner level. Secure whitelisting rights and source high-performing creative for paid amplification. Collaborate with paid media to test and scale influencer-generated content. Success is measured by profitable sales, not reach.

Growth & Cross-Channel Marketing – Manage the marketing calendar and ensure alignment across initiatives. Contribute to launches and promotional strategy. Support brand partnerships, retail initiatives, and new channel exploration. Ensure messaging remains clear, evidence-based, and consistent across channels. This is a lean team—you will have visibility across the full marketing ecosystem.

Paid Media Fluency (Collaboration) – Understand paid acquisition channels and relevant metrics (Meta, Google, CAC, hook rate, etc.). Provide performance creative and feedback loops to paid partners. You do not need to manage budgets, but you should understand performance marketing mechanics.

Data & AI-Enabled Operations – Use tools such as Triple Whale and reporting dashboards to evaluate channel impact. Analyze CAC, LTV, AOV, retention, and channel performance to inform strategy and optimize execution.

  • Background in DTC, ecommerce, or consumer brands preferred

  • Data-driven decision maker – comfortable analyzing performance data, building dashboards, and translating insights into action
  • Cross-functional collaborator – able to work effectively with paid media, creative, operations, and leadership

IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU?

This role is for someone who values ownership, impact, and career development in a lean, high-performing environment. You'll work directly with our Head of Marketing and have visibility across the full marketing function—from strategy to execution to analysis.

You'll thrive here if you're energized by revenue accountability, comfortable operating with autonomy, and motivated by seeing your work directly impact business outcomes. You'll have the space to build, test, and scale channels with minimal layers between you and decision-making.

This isn't the right fit if you prefer large teams, extensive process infrastructure, or narrowly defined roles. But if you want to own meaningful channels, work closely with experienced leadership, and accelerate your career in a mission-driven company, we'd love to talk.
